🏛️ Governance Structure
In The Crownless, governance is not a cosmetic layer — it's a pillar of how the world is shaped, balanced, and evolved. This system rewards players who demonstrate wisdom, contribution, and leadership across combat, lore, community, and strategic domains.
Inspired by medieval councils, decentralized models, and role-based systems, governance introduces seven ascending levels, each with increasing impact and reward.

🧾 Governance Design Principles
Merit-Based Ascension: No role is bought. Players rise through contribution, recognition, and leadership — both on-chain and in-game.
Soft Power, Hard Impact: Higher tiers gain more influence, not more power over individuals. Governance is about guiding systems, not dominating players.
Role Decay & Reevaluation: Inactive or misaligned roles can be rotated out through periodic reviews or council vote.
On-Chain Recognition: Key governance tiers may be represented by soulbound NFTs in the future, permanently archiving player legacy.
💡 Future Expansion Opportunities
As the game grows, governance could extend into:
Guild-based Delegation Trees
Player-driven Lore Councils or World Editors
Zone-Level Rule Voting or Tax Balancing
DAO-controlled grant funds for creators and event organizers
