π§Ύ Account & Data Management
Player identity in The Crownless extends beyond a username β itβs a persistent legacy built across systems, platforms, and the blockchain. Our account architecture is designed to be both secure and flexible, bridging traditional login flows with decentralized asset ownership.
π Account Infrastructure
Players can log in using both Web2 and Web3 methods, ensuring accessibility for newcomers and advanced users alike:
Email + Password authentication with optional 2FA (two-factor authentication)
Web3 wallet integration: MetaMask, WalletConnect, and other EVM-compatible wallets
Guest login for onboarding without wallet setup (with later migration available)
π§ Data Architecture
Account data is split across two secure layers:
On-Chain
Immutable
Player-owned NFTs, stats, $CROWN token balances, legacy achievements, high-value items, stories
Off-Chain (Encrypted)
Mutable
Inventory states, crafting progression, UI preferences, session metadata, world events
Data Sync Features:
Encrypted cloud storage for off-chain assets
Automatic backup & versioning: Full rollback support in case of bugs or exploits
Anti-duplication logic across inventory and progression systems
Cross-platform sync via persistent account states
π Persistent Identity
All accounts are platform-agnostic, enabling progression to carry over between PC launcher, future mobile integrations, and web-based utility portals.
NFTs and token assets are reflected in the playerβs profile and game client
Account dashboards will include player history, badges, transaction logs, and identity-linked lore entries
π§ Designed for Player Freedom & Trust
Players own what they earn β your inventory is yours, not locked to a centralized server
Smart contracts ensure fair, verifiable transactions
Recovery options, multi-wallet support, and cross-device session management ensure long-term accessibility
In a world where power is earned, not given β your account is your legend. Protected, portable, and truly yours.
